Why I started Yvonne Unfiltered

 I have had this idea since forever but I have been too chicken to execute it. I have always thought that I need to have things figured out and I need to be at a certain place before I earn the right to share my thoughts but it's been years and my thoughts are still as chaotic as ever but I have decided to still share my thoughts anyway.

This space is called Yvonne Unfiltered because I want it to be honest. Honest about Faith, Life, Heart matters and the struggles of being a teenager. I want to build it into a place where everyone can find their truth through my voice and discover themselves. I'm want to build this space into a place where everyone can understand that it's okay to not have perfect answers and to still be becoming.

I started this blog as a place to write freely. A place where I can reflect, learn and grow out loud. Some posts will be about feelings, some will be about Faith, some will be about music and some may just be about thoughts I need to let go of. But all of it will be real.

If you're reading this and you're also figuring life out one step at a time, welcome. This isn't a space about having it all figured out. It's about showing up, learning, growing together and choosing honesty even when it feels unpleasant.

Dear Yvonne; Music

 Dear Yvonne, You have come a long way in life and you've realised that without music there were some chapters in your stories where you would have drowned. Music is a life source, a safety net, a confidence booster, a comfort place and best of all a friend during the darkest period. Music is the greatest gift mankind was gifted. For a while now we have loved a band called BTS. They are a south korean boy band formed in 2010 and they had their debut in 2013. They are composed of seven members; RM, Jin, Suga, Jhope, Jimin, V and Jungkook. They have been dropping great music since we were toddlers. Their music has been a beacon of light for us even before we became proper fans.
